About
Camp Lavender & Stone is a of team of passionate advocates, leaders, and changemakers united by a shared vision: to create a safe, affirming, and empowering retreat for LGBTQ+ youth. As a transgender Army soldier and a collective of mission-aligned professionals, we bring together lived experience, mental health awareness, and a commitment to equity to build something transformative.
Camp Lavender & Stone was born from the understanding that LGBTQ+ youth deserve more than survival—they deserve a space to grow, heal, and thrive. Our team combines backgrounds in military service, youth leadership, nonprofit development, and community organizing to ensure that every aspect of the camp is thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful.
This initiative is more than a camp—it’s a movement. We are working to establish a model of care that integrates nature-based healing, creative expression, and leadership development. Through collaborative partnerships, inclusive programming, and long-term vision, we’re building not only a retreat but a legacy of belonging for generations to come.
